My Cousin and His Champagne

May 24th, 2010 by PaPa in Down The Garden Path

I never thought I would love Champagne until I tried it at my cousin’s wedding. My cousin is a little ostentatious to be honest, so I thought that when he brought his bottle of Champagne out – he was just showing off.

I was quite surprised, then, to find that Champagne actually tastes awesome – all those little bubbles dancing on your tongue, like little parties on your taste buds. But off course, in order to keep the [arty going you have to make sure that you keep pouring the lovely drink down your throat.

Luckily, it is true to say that my little cousin bought in loads of Champers for the occasion. And so everyone got their fair share of Champagne – which was good because everyone was after it. The volavants were really nice too – perfect with a wee glass of Champers.

The wedding was a great success – and I’m sure it would have been anyway, it’s just that Champagne helped to make it extra good. Everyone was dancing around and having a great time – and my cousin is now enjoying his honeymoon in Thailand. I hope he gets back in one piece! Plenty of Champers on the plane I expect.
