Spreading Short Breaks Over

The Year

Apr 21st, 2010 by PaPa in The Outer Limits

When we get our allotted holidays for the year, it’s tempting to plan big breaks that give you a nice change of scenery. It’s often the case that we take our 5 days off, surrounding by two weekends – which gives us a grand total of 9 days off. But let’s not discount short breaks.

beach01Short breaks mean we can spread our holiday out over a longer period – and we always have something to look forward to that isn’t too far away. A short break might just require 2 days off, surrounded by a weekend. If you have, say, 20 days off, you’d be able to have 10 short breaks over the year, which is one every 5 weeks.

This means you’d always have a holiday break on the horizon, and never feel that whatever life is throwing at you is swamping you. There’s always an escape. And you don’t have to pay through the nose for it either. With a little time and concentration you’ll be able to find some great deals that will help you get away for less. You don’t always have to go abroad either – there are plenty of great locations for short breaks right here in the UK too.
